Benjamin was raised in Cheyenne and Laramie until he graduated from Laramie Senior High School and left Wyoming to go back to Missouri for his undergraduate studies. Benjamin graduated from Southeast Missouri State University where he studied American History, Logic and American Literature. After graduating, Benjamin attended the University of Wyoming College of Law. During Law School, Benjamin worked in a family law firm in Laramie, was the Dean of his Law Fraternity, Delta Theta Phi, and the President of the Natural Resource Law Club. After graduating law school, Benjamin moved to Cheyenne to start work as a family law Attorney with Cameron Law, LLC. Benjamin worked for Cameron Law, LLC., for 3 years before leaving to take a job as an Assistant District Attorney for the State of Wyoming, First Judicial District. Benjamin prosecuted major crimes for 4 years and lead over 25 jury trials during his time as an ADA. After graduating law school, Ryan moved to New York City and joined a boutique New York City law firm where he practiced commercial and corporate law. In private practice, Ryan worked in numerous areas, including criminal law, contracts, construction, employment discrimination, insurance coverage, insurance defense, international law, negotiations, and mediation.. Ryan returned to Wyoming in 2012, serving as a Deputy County Attorney handling criminal and civil matters for Johnson County, Wyoming. In 2015, Ryan joined the Laramie County District Attorney's Office as an Assistant District Attorney where he prosecuted complex felonies over four years. He also served as a Special Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Wyoming for approximately three years managing drug prosecutions in Southeast Wyoming. As a prosecutor, Ryan conducted dozens of jury trials, provided legal assistance to government agencies and law enforcement agents, oversaw wiretaps and large-scale investigations of narcotic drug networks, and prosecuted hundreds of felony cases. Ryan has hands-on experience in numerous areas of the law.

While in law school, Crystal served as an extern for the Honorable Judge Robert A. Castor of the Albany County Circuit Court and worked as a student attorney for the Defender Aid Clinic. Crystal began her legal career as a practicing attorney in insurance defense and general civil litigation. It was not long before Crystal realized she was not practicing what she is truly passionate about, so she made the move to Pence and MacMillan LLC in 2019.
