Aurelija Fitzpatrick graduated cum laude from Loyola University Chicago School of Law where she was a Civitas ChildLaw Fellow.  She has worked as a law clerk in the Office of the Cook County Public Guardian as well as a private law firm.  She practiced in Juvenile Court while still a law student under a special license from the Illinois Supreme Court.  She has concentrated her practice on family law since January 2012. Aurelija has written and published several articles related to family and child law.  She is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, and the Women’s Bar Association and practices in Cook, DuPage, Will, Lake, and Kane County Circuit Courts.  She is also admitted to the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the Supreme Court of the United States of America.. Aurelija is on the Chicago Public Library Foundation Associate Board, and is an active volunteer at the Tree House Humane Society.

Andrea Lum, an associate attorney at the Law Offices of A. Marcy Newman, has been an indispensable part of the team since 2009.
