With 46 years of experience as a Chicago workers' compensation attorney, Peter D. Corti has distinguished himself within the legal and insurance communities of Illinois.  Mr. Corti is a respected authority in the fields of workers compensation, disability determination and related aspects of injury law. He has briefed and argued cases before the Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission, the Circuit Courts of Cook and surrounding counties, the Federal District Court of the Northern District of Illinois and the State Appellate Court.. Among his many professional affiliations, Mr. Corti is a current member of the Workers' Compensation Lawyers Association and has served as its past president, vice president, treasurer and board member. He is also a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and a former member of the Association's Assembly for Cook County, which "is the supreme policy making body of the Association." He was the Chairman of the 2012-2013 Illinois State Bar Assocation Standing Committee on Strategic Marketing for Illinois Lawyers.  Mr. Corti also was appointed to serve as a member of the Illinois State Bar Association 2013 Workers' Compensation Law Section Council.  He is a member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, and has been a member of the Justinian Society of Lawyers since 1974.
