ALAN J. BRINKMEIER has written numerous articles for the DuPage County Bar Association in the  DuPage County Bar Association Brief, Illinois Bar Journal, Chicago Bar Association Record and the Aviation Litigation Reporter and other publications.  He practices in the areas of aviation law, products liability, insurance, municipal liability, civil rights and appellate practice. Mr. Brinkmeier received his B.A. degree from Elmhurst College and his J.D. degree from DePaul University. He is a member of the Chicago, DuPage County, Illinois State and American bar associations, the Defense Research Institute and the Appellate Lawyers Association.  He was appointed and has served continuously for well over a decade as a Commissioner for the City of Elmhurst Zoning & Planning Commission.
