The boy was fatally injured when he was riding a wheelchair through an open field and caused to fall and suffer catastrophic injuries from a concealed hole in the ground.. $986,000 - Mr. Geller proceeded to trial against the City of Chicago where a Chicago Police Officer collided head-on with our client resulting in serious back injuries. The City and Police Officer vigorously denied that the accident was their fault and never offered a penny to settle the case.
