Attorney Jeffrey D. Poindexter was raised in Southern California in Chula Vista. After graduating from Chula Vista High School, and completing two years at Southwestern College he continued on to obtain a bachelors degree from the University of San Diego where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a major in International Relations. Next, he followed in the footsteps of his father & served four years in the Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer onboard the USS Tuscaloosa making several transits of the Pacific Ocean. In 1993 he was admitted to the Bar after earning his law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law.. After earning his law degree he spent ten years working for a financial and real estate corporation in San Diego. During this period Mr. Poindexter handled hundreds of litigation matters, regularly appeared in court throughout California, and in Hawaii, Florida, New York, Ohio, and both State and Federal appellate courts..
