Garry Bowman, a native of Michigan, began practicing law with the San Diego City Attorney’s office in 1969. He holds Bachelors in Business Administration and Juris Doctor degrees from theUniversity of Michigan. He began his private practice of law in Chula Vista, California in 1970. Between 1972 and 1982 he was a partner in several local law firms. In 1982, Mr. Bowman set up a solo law practice specializing in family law, probate and estate planning. Over the years he has been active in the South Bay Bar Association (past president), Chula Vista Kiwanis Club (past president) and Eastlake Community Church.
