William C. Knox, III (Bill) graduated from Willamette University College of Law in 2000 with the following honors – Law Review, the International Academy of Trial Lawyers Award and the Bruce Spaulding Memorial Award for Trial Advocacy.   Mr. Knox is licensed to practice law in both Oregon and Washington – earning that right the old fashion way, by taking two bar exams.  For the past thirteen (13) years, Mr. Knox has concentrated his practice in the areas of family law and plaintiff’s personal injury matters. Katherine Lubiani is an associate attorney with the Oliveros Law Group. She was born and raised in Memphis Tennessee. Ms. Lubiani attended the University of Memphis and earned a Bachelors degree in International studies. After graduation, Ms. Lubiani was looking at law schools and chose the University of Oregon to be her school of choice. During her studies she earned a Masters degree in Conflict and Dispute Resolution along side her Juris Doctorate, Law Degree. Katherine has always had a passion for wanting to work for and help people. She has found that the legal arena is a great place to apply that passion. When asked, what is the most rewarding aspect of practicing law? Ms. Lubiani states:. “I always strive for a successful outcome for my clients. I am the owner of the Heinson Law Firm, and have represented clients in various of types of litigation and business matters, including landlord-tenant, bodily injury, construction defects, insurance coverage, and premises liability.  I also assist clients with businesses, wills, probates and a variety of "general practice" matters. I have represented clients in state and federal courts throughout Oregon and Washington, and have tried or arbitrated hundreds of cases. I am an arbitrator on court panels in several counties and serve as a volunteer mediator in Multnomah County Small Claims Court.. In addition to an active law practice, I am an adjunct instructor with Portland Community College paralegal program and business department. I also speak at legal seminars on paralegal and trial topics.  I am a member of the Oregon State and the Washington State Bar Associations, and a member of the Oregon Association of Defense Counsel trial practice group.
