Jeffrey is experienced in all aspects of reorganization practice, having represented debtors, creditors’ committees, panel trustees, secured and unsecured creditors, agented bank groups, individual banks, debtor in possession lenders, purchasers, and investment banks in workouts, restructurings, recapitalizations, bankruptcies and structuring of mergers and acquisitions of distressed assets in and out of bankruptcy.. Jeffrey has received an AV® peer review rating indicating a Very High to Preeminent Legal Ability rating and a Very High General Ethical Standards rating. He has co-chaired the Cleveland Bar Association’s Wm. J. O’Neill Bankruptcy Institute and was a member of the Special Legislative Committee of the Cleveland Bar Association Bankruptcy and Commercial Law Section. In addition, Jeffrey is a graduate of the Harvard Law School’s Negotiation Workshop.. In the course of his insolvency and bankruptcy practice, Rob has represented equity security holders, secured lenders, unsecured creditors' committees, trustees, receivers, and those who wish to purchase assets out of bankruptcy estates.  His extensive experience in commercial litigation includes commercial foreclosures, contract litigation and recovering assets fraudulently transferred or concealed from creditors.  Rob has also advised corporate officers and directors regarding fiduciary duties in both the non-profit and profit sectors.

I have been practicing bankruptcy law since 1993 when I first started clerking for the Honorable Randolph Baxter, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge.  As a law clerk I was able to experience the judge's persepctive of each case.   I then started my own practice and quickly earned an appointment to the Cleveland panel of chapter 7 trustees.  I handle cases as a bankruptcy trustee, and I represent individuals who need financial assistance, including filing for chapter 7 and chapter 13 protection.    I have a unique perspective of the practice from all sides of each matter which helps me quickly assess the strengths and weaknesses of each person's situation.   I then work hand in hand with my clients to develop the best strategy for obtaining relief for their financial problems.
