I am a Partner of Weston Hurd LLP, an Ohio-based law firm. The focus of my practice includes general litigation in the areas of employment, long term care, construction law, personal injury, products liability and employer intentional tort.  I obtained my BA from Baldwin-Wallace College in 1995 and my JD from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 1999. I was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 2000 and am also admitted in the US District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. In 2007, I was named a Super Lawyer – Ohio Rising Star by Law & Politics Media, Inc. for my work in the area of personal injury/medical malpractice. I am a member of the Defense Research Institute and the Ohio State Bar Association.

For 30 years, I have represented the interests of insurance companies and their insured's throughout the state of Ohio in matters of civil litigation. I have a particular interest and expertise in premises liability matters, having represented retail establishments in matters involving trip and fall cases, negligent security cases, false arrest cases and other cases where grocery stores, bars, restaurants and other shopkeepers have been sued. I also represent insurance companies in matters involving first party claims, including examinations under oath and claim investigations.
