Regina has been a partner at Owens, McCrea & Linscott (formerly Owens & Crandall) since 2012.  Her practice is 100% devoted to litigation, predominantly helping clients pursue insurance claims.. Regina is active in the First District Bar Association, Idaho Women Lawyers, Coeur d'Alene Women in Business, and the Idaho Trial Lawyers' Association.  She has served on the board of the ITLA since 2013 as a co-chair of publications.

Katherine graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2012 with a double major in finance and medieval studies before attending Gonzaga University School of Law, where she graduated magna cum laude. At Gonzaga, Katherine was a member of the Federal Tax Law Clinic and focused her studies on tax law, estate planning, and environmental law. An avid fly-fisher, Katherine co-founded the Gonzaga Rod & Gun Club to educate fellow law students on the practices and legalities of fishing and hunting in the Northwest. In her free time, she also enjoys skiing, hiking, and horseback riding.. After representing the sport of professional rodeo as the first Washingtonian to win the Miss Rodeo America crown in 2016, Katherine began practicing law in Coeur d’Alene. Her experience includes serving as a public defender for Benewah, Kootenai, and Shoshone Counties, representing clients in natural resource, property rights, and environmental law matters, and assisting with generational transfers of wealth through tax and estate planning. Katherine’s desire to help others and contribute to her community led to her current practice assisting families with estate planning, probate, guardianship, and conservatorship matters.

Jeff Owens is a native to North Idaho, where he graduated from Coeur d’Alene High School in 1995.  He then went to Brigham Young University and graduated in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience.  Jeff spent a year living in Norfolk, Virginia, working as neuro-diagnostic technician at Sentara Healthcare.  In 2002, Jeff entered law school at the Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon, obtaining his law degree in 2005.. Currently, Jeff is the managing partner at Owens, McCrea and Linscott, where he specializes in plaintiffs’ personal injury and medical malpractice litigation.  During the past twelve years, Jeff has helped hundreds of people resolve their personal injury and medical malpractice claims.  Jeff serves as the President-Elect for the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association and is the incoming President of the First District Bar Association.. When he is not working, Jeff enjoys hiking, mountain biking, skiing, and gardening.

I’m a business attorney with business experience.  In addition to helping numerous clients form businesses and navigate the day-to-day issues presented by a fast-paced and often highly regulated business environment, I have first-hand experience conceiving, funding, launching, managing and growing a highly regulated business.  Informed by this entrepreneurial experience, my practice focuses on business matters ranging from formation to sale, and everything in between, which necessarily includes management and governance questions, employment issues, real property and landlord-tenant matters, business contracts, and business related litigation.  I also have experience navigating state and federal compliance requirements related to the production, packaging and sale of alcohol, with state and local administrative disputes ranging from land use matters before the Board of Commissioners to professional license matters before the Bureau of Occupational Licensing, and with creditor’s rights and their judicial and non-judicial foreclosure of real property.

I am a native North Idahoan, and obtained my law degree from Gonzaga School of Law and then my masters in tax law (LL.M.) from the University of Washington. My firm is a boutique law firm that focuses its practice exclusively in the areas of estate planning, probates, and guardianships (see areas of practice).. April graduated from the University of Idaho with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting.    After receiving her bachelor’s agree she worked for a national retailer beginning with attending an in-house executive MBA program and then proceeding into a broad spectrum of positions including, management, human resource management and trainer focused on the development of front-line and mid-level managers’ best practices to minimize risk of legal exposure.. April left the fast paced retail environment to pursue a career in the legal field. April entered law school at Gonzaga University School of Law, obtaining her law degree.. Currently, April is one of four partners at Owens, McCrea and Linscott, where she practices general civil litigation focusing on litigation in employment law, real estate, business disputes and probate.. April is also a trained mediator.  She has assisted her client’s achieve results whether through alternative dispute resolution, litigation or appeal.. Her hobbies include: riding horseback, skiing, mountain climbing, backpacking and going to the gym.
