My firm is in the German Village area of Columbus, Ohio.  My legal practice focuses on issues relating to older adults.. I am  currently on the Board for the Pauline Home Association (a personal expense management services provider to senior residents of Franklin County).  I was a past president of the Board of Trustees of LifeCare Alliance, which provides Meals-on-Wheels and home health care to the homebound elderly of Franklin County.  In addition, I was a past chairman of the OSBA Elder Law Committee and past chairman of the Elder Law Committee of the Columbus Bar Association.. I have authored the Ohio Medicaid Manual, revised 2009, which is now used as a training manual for his annual seminars to train Ohio attorneys in the pracitce of Medicaid and am co-author of Financial and Health Care-Planning for the Elderly in Ohio (1999).. I grew up in Worthington and currently reside there with my huband and children.  I love to travel and see all of the wonderful sights this world has to offer.. In my free time, I enjoy reading, exercising, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.. I recently completed my first half Ironman!

I grew up in Massillon, Ohio and moved to Columbus to attend college and go to law school.  I attended Capital University for both.. While at Capital University Law School, I served as Editor-in-Chief of the Capital University Law School.  I graduated summa cum laude with pro bono honors.. I am an associate attorney at Taps & Sutton, where I am also a co-author of the Ohio Medicaid Manual.  I currently serve as Vice President of the Tri-County Estate Planning Council.. After law school, I got married and bought a home in Pickerington.  I love living in Central Ohio and experiencing all that is has to offer.. In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors - walking, hiking, biking.  I love reading, and watching football and baseball. I'm partial to the Browns and Buckeyes during football season and the Indians during baseball season.

Cooley, I served in many organizations such as the Appellate Advocacy Board, Trial Advocacy Board, & Law Review.  In addition, I volunteered my time as Chairman of Michigan Youth in Government and tutored many law students in Criminal Procedure, Torts, and Civil Procedure.  As well as graduating at the top of my class, I was awarded the Leadership Achievement Award and the Moot Court Service Award.  This experience through law school has set a solid foundation to provide superior legal representation for my clients.. As a professional, I have worked at the Office of the Ohio Attorney General assisting in the defense of this state against any complex civil claim brought against it.  I have also worked at the Washtenaw County Public Defender’s Office vigorously defending individuals charged with felonies.. After my time at Thomas M. Attorney Ed Malek graduated from Capital University Law School in 1969.
