In addition to his work with the NC Bar Association, Stephen is heavily involved with Covenant Presbyterian Church in Charlotte where he serves as the chair of the Young Adults Council. Outside of practicing law and serving his church, Stephen enjoys fishing, camping, and rooting for all things UNC.. Stephen and his wife, Heather, have known each other since childhood, growing up together at First Presbyterian Church of Concord. After graduating high school in Concord, they both attended UNC Chapel Hill.
