Originally from North Dakota, I moved to the Twin Cities to attend college. After graduating and prior to law school I worked and lived in Shanghai, China where I taught a variety of subjects at the local international schools. In addition to my primary practice areas, I have a strong background in Employment Law, Employee Benefits, Health Law, and Insurance. Because my clients rarely have just one legal issue, it is important to be well-versed in these closely-related fields. In my spare time I enjoy archery, travel, and sporting events.

Katelyn is originally from Anchorage, Alaska before moving to Saint Joseph, Minnesota to attend the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, Political Science, and Spanish. Katelyn was a member of the St. Benedict women's hockey team and studied abroad in Valladolid, Spain. In her free time, Katelyn coaches the Anoka/Rogers 12UA girls' hockey team, plays adult league hockey, and enjoys baking.

Joleen started her legal career after serving in US Army Special Operations for almost a decade. After medically retiring from the Army, Joleen attended Elon University School of Law were she focused on representing indigent and Veteran communities. Following her graduation from law school Joleen was a Deputy Public Defender with the Twin Falls County, Idaho Public Defender’s Office. In 2021 she moved to Minnesota and continued her work as an Assistant Public Defender. She joined Garber & Bakke, LLC to be able to reach more people in her new community and use her experience to assist Veterans in the Twin Cities Metro area..
