Todd earned his B.A. in Economics, with Minors in Japanese and Marketing from the University of Iowa in 1993. Shortly thereafter he started his first career in the high-tech software/hardware industry. During the mid-90’s, he worked for three international (Israel, UK and Belgium) software and hardware manufacturing companies concentrated in the printing and packaging industry. He continued working in this capacity prior to and during law school at Chapman University School of Law, where he earned his J.D. in December 2003.. While at Chapman Law, Todd focused on business and international law, receiving certificates in 2002 from the University of San Diego School of Law for his studies in Barcelona, Spain on International and Comparative Law; and in 2003 from the University of Santa Clara School of Law for his studies in Tokyo, Japan on International Intellectual Property Law. Also in 2003, Mr. Winter worked for a Vietnamese law firm, VILAF – Hong Duc, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, where he focused on foreign business investment in Vietnam.. In addition to his international focus, Todd received an Excellence for the Future Award at Chapman Law for earning top honors in Entertainment Law. He was also a member of the Mock Trial Board and Negotiations team and clerked for the Honorable James J. Di Cesare, in Orange County.. Mr. Winter was admitted to the California Bar in June of 2004 and is admitted to practice before all courts in the State of California. Todd was also admitted to the Arizona Bar in May of 2005 and is currently licensed to practice before all courts in the State of Arizona.
