Travis was able to research the particular and unique issues of this case and find a specific Foster Care Fund that had been created by the State of California to act as the insurer for foster parents who have harmed children in their care through negligence like what occurred in this case.  Travis discovered that if the new parents of the child did not file a claim with the Foster Care Fund first, before attempting to sue the foster parent, then their lawsuit likely would be dismissed.  The firm was able to use this vital information to obtain a substantial settlement from the Foster Care Fund for this badly injured child.  After seeing the fruits that can come from hard work and dedication to your clients, Travis became even more inspired and anxious to complete law school so he could begin his practice of helping people..
