Prior to becoming a full-time private criminal defense attorney, I worked as a civil rights attorney at the U.S. Department of Education, an Assistant Public Defender for the State of Rhode Island, and an Equal Opportunity Specialist at HUD.. Before practicing law I had the honor and pleasure of representing our country for over eleven years in the United States Coast Guard. After separating from the Coast Guard, I attended/graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Law with my Juris Doctorate.. Currently, I am an active member of the Rhode Island Bar Association and the Rhode Island Criminal Bench Bar.  As my resume reflects, I am a strong advocate of public interests, particularly equal rights and due process, and I will agressively advocate/fight for my clients.
