Since entering the practice of law in 1980, John Maksimovich has represented hundreds of defendants facing criminal charges in Indiana State and U.S. Federal Courts. Mr. Maksimovich has extensive experience as primary defense counsel in all aspects of complex and multi-defendant state and federal criminal cases, including bail, detention, and preliminary hearing, violation of supervised release, pre-trial motion practice, trial, sentencing, appeal, and post conviction relief. Committed to excellence in all areas of practice, Mr. Maksimovich has successfully represented defendants against both the federal and state death penalty and in the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. He is an active member of the Criminal Justice Act Panel at both the District Court and Appellate Court level for criminal, post-conviction, and civil rights appointments. Mr. Maksimovich's criminal defense work has led to numerous acquittals, case dismissals, and other favorable outcomes for individuals and multiple defendants accused of murder, RICO crimes, Hobbs act robbery crimes, drug crimes, firearm crimes, kidnapping crimes, and white collar crimes.

Beth has always believed everyone should have equal access to the justice system. That is why she became a lawyer. For her tireless efforts in representing seriously injured clients, Beth was granted membership in the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, The Top Trial Lawyers in America and The National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Trial Lawyers. Over her career, Beth has tried many jury trials and settled many more cases against insurance companies. While still early in her career, she has already written several winning appellate briefs for the Court of Appeals and successfully argued before the Indiana Supreme Court. Beth is a proud member of the American Association for Justice, the American Association of Motorcycle Injury Lawyers and ABATE. Beth is an ABATE motorcycle riding class graduate and she uses this knowledge to represent injured motorcycle riders. Beth is licensed to practice law in both Illinois and Indiana, representing clients from Chicago to Indianapolis. Beth grew up in Valparaiso, Indiana and attended Valparaiso University. There, she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Sociology/Criminal Justice, graduating with honors. She went on to obtain a J.D. from the Valparaiso School of Law in 2003. In her free time, Beth volunteers at Lakeshore Paws in Valparaiso, walking and caring for dogs waiting to find a forever home.
