Robert developed a passion for helping people at a young age. His parents instilled in him the importance of taking care of family and friends, no matter the need. Robert's Dad, a WWII Vet, provided for his family working with cattle and in citrus harvesting. Working alongside of his dad, Robert learned to appreciate the value of hard work, doing a job well, and the importance of helping others.. Robert did not take the traditional path to law school. Instead, after completing his bachelor's degree, he worked for years in retail and insurance. These years gave him real life experience which helps him understand and identify his clients’ needs and solutions, whether it is a Social Security Disability case or a motor vehicle accident case. Unfortunately, it was during this time that Robert experienced first-hand the impact a chronic and debilitating illness has, not only on the person, but the entire family when his father was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Walking through this difficult time, Robert personally experienced the importance of having an advocate to ensure that a suffering person is not overlooked or marginalized. This, combined with his other life experiences, created a passion for helping those who cannot help themselves and needs an advocate to fight for them.. When Robert attended Stetson University College of Law, his passion for advocating and the law was evident. He participated in numerous competitions in trial and appellate work. During law school he interned with a local circuit court judge and then clerked for her. Robert also interned with a governmental agency and with the State Attorneys’ office prosecuting cases. He graduated from law school in 1999 with his Juris Doctorate, Cum Laude.. During his law career, he has represented injured workers, accident victims, and the disabled. It is this passion and desire to help those in need that has shaped the mission of his firm. Robert’s commitment to helping clients extends beyond the resolution of their case. For him, the people he helps are clients for life. To ensure that clients are treated like family, Robert has selected staff who share his vision to be a voice for those whom insurance companies and the government ignore. The vision and passion of the firm is reflected in this simple, yet powerful statement “At the heart of our firm, we are people helping people”.

I grew up and continue to live in Pasco County, so I'm familiar with local issues and local sensibilities. I have been practicing law in the State of Florida since 1999, and I have vast experience in family law and wills, trusts, and estates.. I am a husband and the father of 10 great kids (5 girls and 5 boys - in that order!). They have helped me hone my ability to really listen; this, in turn, helps me hear what clients are saying and understand their goals. I have been through divorce myself, and my personal life experience makes me well-suited to practice in those areas where a smart and symapthetic ear is necessary.. I enjoy getting outside and playing golf when I can, but I really enjoy working with my hands when I'm out of the office. My wife and I routinely work on outdoor and other home improvement projects, which are therapeutic for someone who deals with stressful situations all week.. Feel free to contact us if you need any help, including a free consulation about your legal questions.
