I am a Registered Patent Attorney licensed to practice law in Florida and the District of Columbia. I hold a B.S., with Honors, in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Miami, an M.S. in Bioengineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Miami. Prior to attending law school, I worked as an engineer with the Neurovascular Division of Cordis, a Johnson & Johnson Company, and Z-KAT, Inc., in the development of vascular and orthopedic surgical devices. I have intellectual property litigation experience before the International Trade Commission and the Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences, provide legal opinions related to patent infringement and validity, and have an active patent prosecution practice with respect to a variety of technologies. I served as Vice-Chairman of the Intellectual Property Section of the Broward County Bar Association and am currently an executive officer of the Intellectual Property Law Association of Florida.
