In March of 2016 I was inducted into the College of Workers' Compensation Lawyers in a ceremony in New Orleans, Louisiana.   I was told that I am the only in house legal counsel for an automotive company to receive this honor.. In January of 2017, I was promoted to Managing Counsel and Program Manager, Workers' Compensation, Ford Motor Company.   As Managing Counsel, I supervise a team of in house lawyers in Michigan and Ohio, as well as outside counsel across the entire country.. In 2019, I was nominated by my peers as a Top Lawyer in the Corporate Counsel category in DBusiness magazine.   I was chosen as a finalist in the Automaker category and was recently awarded the honor of being named DBusiness magazine's winner in the Automaker group of in house corporate counsel.

Gregory Boulahanis graduated cum laude from the University of Michigan in 1979 with his Bachelor's degree.  Following that he graduated from the Detroit College of Law in 1983.  After working for a law firm for a five year period, he started his own practice in 1989 in the City of Dearborn.  He has more than 35 years of trial experience concentrating on Drunk Driving Defense.  His extensive amount of time devoted to this area of law has equipped him to handle the simplest to the most difficult cases with close attention and strong defense.. For over two and a half decades he has been representing people from all walks of life to have voice in a legal system that can be difficult to stand up to.  His time in the field has allowed him to see which strategies often prove more successful in protecting his clients from any form of drunk driving accusations.  Mr. Boulahanis is highly familiar with the trial and appellate courts in the State of Michigan, and his familiarity allows him to better prepare and provide for a smoother run for his clients.

For over 40 years I have been an active litigation attorney. On average I get to court once a day every day the Wayne County Circuit Court or local District Courts in Wayne, Oakland and Washtenaw Counties.. I am the founder and original president of The Wayne County Family Law Bar Association, and was appointed as a special master to hear personal protection order cases in Wayne County.
