I began my experience in 2004 as a Criminal Justice major at the University of Michigan - Dearborn.  From there, I began to further diversify by learning the intricacies of family and divorce law by interning in the family division of the Wayne County Circuit Court.. After graduating with honors, I was accepted into the law program at the Univerity of Detroit Mercy School of Law.  During my time at Detroit Mercy, I diversified in a wide variety of studies, but focused on Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, Evidence, and Constitutional Law.  With a passion for defending the accused and challenging evidence, I began an externship at the Washtenaw County Office of Public Defender, the most highly recognized public defender's office in the State of Michigan..
