While there, I served on the school’s law review and as a research assistant for some of my professors. I also interned for a judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and clerked for a trial court judge in Flint, Michigan. This provided me an excellent education in what judges look for when deciding their cases, and whether to grant a claimant a favorable decision. I worked as an associate attorney helping people obtain worker’s compensation and auto no-fault benefits.
