Joe Borg is a member of a firm’s Litigation Group with a general practice including but not limited to commercial litigation, real estate litigation, and all other areas of trial law. Given my level of jury trial experience, I was elected into the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), a national invitation-only organization for lawyers requiring significant jury trial experience as a qualification for membership.  I am the Immediate Past President of the Iowa Chapter of ABOTA.  In addition to ABOTA, I am an active member of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel (FDCC), a peer-selected organization composed of leaders in the legal defense community who have achieved professional distinction.  I have also been named a Fellow in the Iowa Academy of Trial Lawyers, an organization limited to 250 of the most experienced trial lawyers in the State of Iowa.  I am have been rated by Martindale-Hubbell at the AV (highest) level for legal ethics and ability..
