Jeffery Bruce Yazel earned his law degree at McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific, and his Bachelors of Science from California State University, Sacramento. He also holds a California Teaching Credential from Chapman University. At Zumbrun, he championed landowner’s rights against bureaucratic agencies including California Coastal Commission, Tahoe Regional Planning Agency, Caltrans, and California Department of Fish & Game, (fought against the poisoning of Lake Davis). Mr. Yazel was instrumental in drafting and enacting legislation aimed at the prevention of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), and has also been a consistent volunteer for political campaigns and voter initiatives.. Today, Mr. Yazel vigorously represents homeowners throughout Californiaagainst predatory brokers and lenders including Bank of America, Wells Fargo, JPMorgan Chase, U.S. Bank, GreenPoint, OneWest, Deutsche Bank, Capital One, Bank of New York Mellon, Countrywide, Wachovia, Washington Mutual, MERS and many others.. Mr. Yazel is a former educator, and has always been active in his Elk Grove community serving as President of the Parent Teacher Organization and site counsel for his local elementary school, coaching little league baseball, basketball, soccer and high school football.
