He then went on to earn his Juris Doctor degree from the State University of New York, Buffalo, in 1974. Mr. Goodchild was admitted to the California State Bar, in 1975, the U.S. Central District Court of California, in 1976, and the U.S. Supreme Court, in 1981. In that same year, Jack Goodchild became a partner in the law firm Rand and Goodchild, PLC, and he was certified as a Workers’ Compensation Specialist. In 1989, Mr. Goodchild founded his own law firm, which is today known as the Law Offices of Goodchild and Duffy, PLC. In addition to his role as an attorney, Jack Goodchild has worked since 1984 as a Judge Pro Tem for the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board.
