Megan has focused her law practice exclusively on estate planning, probate/trust administration, and elder law since becoming a member of the Washington State Bar Association in 2004. In 2010 her peers voted her a “Rising Star” in Washington Law & Politics and Super Lawyers® magazine. Prior to law school Megan worked in the U.S. Senate and continues to work on public policy and legislative issues in her role on the WSBA’s Elder Law Section Executive Committee.

Emily Ann Albrecht focuses her practice on funeral law, including mortuary defense litigation, administrative adjudication matters for the Washington State Funeral and Cemetery Board, FTC Funeral Rule compliance, internal inspections and investigations, risk management, best practices and liability avoidance for funeral homes, cemeteries, crematories, funeral directors and embalmers. Emily also serves as General Counsel for the Washington State Funeral Directors Association. Emily is the Chair-Elect of the Washington State Bar Association (WSBA) Washington Young Lawyers Committee. Each year since 2017 Emily was named a SuperLawyers® “Rising Star”. Emily is also an Associate Fellow with the Litigation Counsel of America, a trial lawyer honorary society composed of less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers.
