As staff counsel in the Washington State Senate, Jamie drafted bills and amendments on a variety of issues ranging from mental health to fish habitat. I was born and raised in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. I attended Radford University in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains, where I majored in history and minored in media studies. Following college, I worked in mental health, where I worked with adults with traumatic brain injuries ahd children with traumatic histories.. In 2016, my now wife and I moved to Eugene, Oregon, where I worked with children with traumatic histories. In 2017, I attended the University of Oregon School of Law. While in law school, I served on the board of the Oregon Law Review as an Articles Editor and worked as a research assistant for Professor Suzanne Rowe and Professor Carl Bjerre. I also worked as a law clerk at Hutchinson Cox prior to graduation.. At Strohman Ford, I enjoy helping people plan for the future with preparing their estate plan and assisting with the formation and management of their businesses.
I grew up in the small Eastern Oregon town of Milton-Freewater. I moved to Eugene to attend law school at the University of Oregon in 2002, and have lived here ever since. My husband and I are busy raising three children, Zack, Nolan, and Henry. I enjoy gardening, photography, and exploring all that Oregon has to offer.
