Jacob was born and raised in Washington and attended the University of Washington where he majored in History, with a focus on the history of science.. Jacob graduated from Seattle University School of Law. During his second summer at Seattle University, Jacob was a Rule 9 intern with the Snohomish County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. While at the Snohomish County, he represented the State of Washington in hundreds of traffic infraction negotiations and hearings. He was also able to take several cases to trial and argue several motions. Jacob also interned at the United States Coast Guard for a semester.. Besides his experience in the courtroom, Jacob has clerked for the Honorable Janice E. Ellis in Snohomish County Superior Court.. Jacob is also passionate about being active in the community. He has volunteered on numerous campaigns, mentored law students, and gave back to organizations, like the Technology Student Association, who helped him get to where he is today..
