I find that these types of resolutions in family law cases get both people closer to what they want to achieve than anything that a court can do. There is definitely a time and a place for litigation, but I believe that many cases never need to see the inside of a courtroom. Collaborative Law allows more flexibility than other choices of litigation alternatives, and allows the people at the heart of the matter to make creative decisions that will work best for them and their families. I believe that being in control of such decisions is best for a changing family dynamic and allows the parties to move forward with their lives feeling that they had control over the outcome of this very difficult time in their lives.”

Patent law first intrigued me while working on a boat in the Caribbean on crystal clear, blue waters. I was a photographer with an assignment to help with a pending patent infringement lawsuit by taking pictures of fishing lines with various color treatments to determine the accuracy and enablement of whether fluorescent dyes in fishing lines are activated underwater in fishing lines.. I became a patent lawyer in large measure due to that early project. I have an undergraduate degree from Iowa State University in Chemical Engineering and my law degree from The George Washington University.. I have been a patent examiner, and now my practice involves most aspects of matters that involve a patent, a trademark, a copyright and the asociated business interests around these topics.. I offer an extended consultation to better gauge whether you need help and, if so, just how I can help.
Our team of experienced attorneys and paralegals is dedicated to improving the lives of our clients by resolving family law disputes efficiently and in a manner tailored to meet the needs of each case. Our firm is a general litigation practice with a focus on employment law and criminal/traffic defense. Many clients with even minor criminal and traffic charges are rightfully concerned about the impact such a charge will have on their employment.. We can help explain how these types of charges affect your job or your security clearance and we can work to minimize the impact.. At Hogan & Pritchard, PLLC, we also advise clients on various legal issues that arise in the workplace, including discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, unpaid wage/overtime claims, severance package negotiations, and unemployment compensation.
Our firm has the luxury of being able to limit our practice to Plaintiff's personal injury work. We never represent corporations or insurance companies - only injured people. This allows us to be extremely familiar with the types of issues that are presented in personal injury cases - allegations of pre-existing injury, contributory negligence and problems of permanent injuries. It also allows us to spend less time re-inventing the wheel and researching the issues that come in in every case and more time focusing on the little things in your case that will have a big impact in the courtroom.
