C. M. Jackson otherwise known as “CJ” is the founding attorney of C. M. Jackson Legal. PLLC. She attended Howard Univeristy and received a Bachelors of Arts in Legal Communication. In 2009 she matriculated through Liberty University, School of Law with a specialized focus on criminal defense.. Upon graduation, CJ was an associate attorney for a boutique firm in Alexandria, Virginia. Her experience there produced in her the skillset necessary to adequately defend clients of the Newport News Public Defenders Office. CJ also served on the advisory board of the Newport News Juvenile Drug Court. During her time in Newport News she grew an affinity for the practice of juvenile law and took a special interest in representing juveniles faced with more serious crimes.. CJ has had the opportunity to serve the citizens of Virginia from both sides of the courtroom. After a few years as an assistant public defender she became an assistant Commonwealth’s attorney for the state of Virginia in the city of Portsmouth. There she litigated several cases dealing with domestic violence, felony gun possession, animal cruelty, and drug distribution.. CJ is committed to the pursuit of justice. She is a very aggressive and zealous advocate. Understanding that criminal convictions have lifetime implications CJ does her due diligence to make sure her clients have a clear understanding during each stage of the process.

Bruce is a senior associate attorney with the law firm of Chadwick, Washington, Moriarty, Elmore & Bunn, P.C. His practice is entirely devoted to community association representation. Bruce joined the firm in 2007 and has been practicing law since 2004. He has previously served as president of the Carr at New Providence Condominium Unit Owners’ Association and as a director of the Lakeford Community Association in Falls Church, VA. Bruce is an active volunteer with the Washington Metropolitan Chapter of CAI, and was  elected to serve on the Board of Directors in 2012.  He currently serves as President of the WMCCAI Board of Directors and has authored multiple articles in Quorum, presented at numerous CAI education seminars and served as co-chair of the WMCCAI Outreach Committee. He was awarded the WMCCAI Rising Star Award in 2011, the Committee Chair of the Year award in 2012 and the Educator of the Year award in 2015.

Broderick Dunn has spent his career helping individuals and small businesses navigate the litigation process, avoid costly disputes, and maneuver through all types of employment issues. Broderick is a leader in the commercial litigation and employment bar and regularly writes and speaks about Virginia’s new employment laws, workplace harassment, workplace assault, social media in the workplace, and business torts. He also regularly appears in state and federal courts and in front of private arbitrators, mediators, and administrative agencies.. After graduating from Williams College with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and American Studies, Broderick obtained his J.D. from Washington & Lee University School of Law in 2007, where he was the recipient of the Claytor Family Endowment Scholarship. Since then, Broderick has practiced law in Virginia and Maryland, representing clients in all types of employment and business matters. He also represents clients in federal courts in the District of Columbia. Broderick is a member of the Executive Committee of the Virginia Bar Association Labor and Employment Section, the Leadership Committee of the Fairfax Bar Association’s Employment Section, and the Northern Virginia Black Attorneys Association.. Outside of the courtroom, Broderick is active in his community. In 2014, he was appointed to the Fairfax County Civil Service Commission. Following his service on the Civil Service Commission, Broderick was appointed as the Braddock District Commissioner on the Fairfax County Redevelopment and Housing Authority in 2020. Broderick serves as a class agent for Woodberry Forest School’s annual fund. In the spring of 2021, Broderick was elected to serve on Woodberry’s Board of Trustees. Broderick also serves as a 2004 class agent for Williams College’s annual fund. He relishes any opportunity to serve his community, both professionally and personally.
