Susan Butler's practice has focused in the area of domestic relations and family law since she began her practice in 1992. Since 1996, her primary concentration has been in the court systems of Northern Virginia. I have been in the legal profession since I graduated from college in 1994.  I started my career as a paralegal.  During my time as a paralegal, I worked in a plaintiff's personal injury firm in Connecticut while my husband (and current law partner) was in law school, and later as a senior litigation paralegal at a large firm in Washington, D.C.  I attended law school at night and worked during the day.. Outside of the office I keep busy with my young children-- two sons and daughter--all of whom have crazy schedules.  I also enjoy movies, reading and travel.
