I am Joseph Jardine.  Let me introduce myself.  I have been practicing law for 15 years.  I decided to hang a shingle out of law school.  My firm grew over the years to include up to 4 attorneys with a large support staff.  I found that a large law practice brought with it a large headache and subsequently downsized.. I am currently operating a one attorney firm with 2 paralegals and some additional support staff.  Both of my paralegals have over 20 years experience.  I have handled a wide array of cases throughout my career from criminal defense to personal injury to business litigation.. I graduated from BYU in 1997 with a BA in English.  I then attended law school at the University of Idaho, in Moscow, Idaho, graduating in 2000.  I am licensed to practice law in both Utah and Idaho.. On a personal side, I have lived in Davis County, Utah for the last 15 years.  My wife and I have been married now for 17 years.  I grew up in Washington State, but moved to Utah after law school.  I enjoy playing chess, tennis, and spending time with my wife and children.

Courtney Neves is an associate at Voyant Legal and focuses on estate and business planning.. Growing up, Courtney worked alongside his family and grandparents on the Neves farm and ranch. Prior to his death, Courtney’s grandfather hired an attorney to help in the planning of his estate. Because of this planning, when Courtney’s grandfather passed, many legal ‘potholes’ were avoided. At nearly the same time, another member of the community passed unexpectantly, leaving the family farm and land to the family without any advanced estate planning. That was when Courtney realized that he wanted to help families protect their legacies and loved ones through proper planning.. Courtney left his small hometown in Northern Wyoming to come to Utah for his education. After receiving a master’s degree in accountancy from BYU, Courtney pursued a law degree from the University of Utah. While in law school, Courtney passed the CPA exam and is now a licensed CPA and attorney. Additionally, Courtney has experience preparing personal tax returns and performing business valuations for gift and estate planning purposes, divorces, and partner buy/sell agreements..
