I have been practicing law since 1987. I started in NJ & PA, then in 1994 became licensed in FL. Having been a mediator & arbitrator for the last 20 years; of which the last 16 I have been as a member of the Florida Mediation Group, I sincerely enjoy dispute resolution. My experience in the aviation and Maritime industries is extensive; thirty years in aviation as a pilot, having retired from USAirways, and concurrently in the marine industry as an ocean freighter owner, yacht broker and master seaman. For the last 20 years I have been a member of the Broward County Marine Advisory Committee.

He is a member of The Florida Bar and the Broward County Bar Association, where he also served as Chairman Grievance Committee 17-B of The Florida Bar.. Mr. Massey is active in civic matters and has served as Chairman of the City of Fort Lauderdale Parks, Recreation and Beaches Advisory Board, and as a member of the City of Fort Lauderdale Community Services Board. He has also served as President of the Coral Ridge Association, and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Tower Forum. He is also the past President of, and serves on the Board of Directors of the St. Thomas More Society of South Florida. Mr. Massey is also an active member of the Knights of Columbus.
