DeeDee successfully obtained a guilty verdict at trial in a media case in which the defendant was charged with attempted murder of a young female in a public park. DeeDee was then promoted to special unit prosecutor in the highly coveted Sexual Battery and Child Abuse Unit, where she investigated and prosecuted cases such as sexual battery, lewd and lascivious molestation, and aggravated child abuse.. Throughout DeeDee’s career, she has worked closely with law enforcement, including the FBI, to bring justice to victims and their families. It is through her work as a special unit prosecutor that she realized her true passion lies in representing the victims and survivors of sexual abuse. She has earned the reputation as a tough trial lawyer who will fight for justice.. After serving in the public sector, DeeDee joined one of Florida’s largest civil litigation firms where she focused her practice on products liability, premises liability, wrongful death, and automobile negligence.
