He also sits on a committee with several Charter School Lawyers drafting a model agreement for use in Florida based on new law passed by the Florida Legislature in June 2013. Wood is a frequent presenter at various conferences on multiple charter school issues.. Wood has been actively involved within the Florida ice hockey community, currently serving as immediate past president of the Statewide Amateur Hockey Association of Florida (SAHOF).
