Beyond business litigation and general counsel experience, I have a background in legislation and public policy that I have relied upon to represent clients in regulatory and legislative matters, including First Amendment issues, planning and zoning, and education. The father of a special needs daughter, I take advantage of opportunities and forums that allow me to advocate to enhance the opportunties for disabled children.
I graduated from the University of Virginia in 1980 with a degree in English. I then went to Chicago to attend Northwestern University Law School and the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management. While in law school, I was on the Editorial Board of the Journal of International Law and Business. I graduated from business school with a degree in finance.
