Mr. Harris began his legal career in Fresno, California in 1998. For the next 16 years, Mr. Harris worked at three different firms including one of Fresno’s larger law firms, before working at a bankruptcy boutique, and finally a prominent business firm before founding Harris Law Firm, PC. He has tried multiple cases throughout California, including jury trials, before State and federal courts, as well as administrative agencies. He is well-known for his aggressive, but pragmatic approach to resolution of legal disputes. As an adult, he has played rugby with Fresno Rugby Football Club throughout California, competed in powerlifting, Strongman (where he was Northern Nevada’s Strongest Man), and bodybuilding (where he won his first show in Southern California). Currently, Mr. Harris is training to fight in mixed martial arts. Nearly every weekend, Mr. Harris can be found riding his Ducati to locations unknown.. I have been in practice for 25 years and have substantial business, estate planning, and litigation experience.. I grew up in Minnesota. During my college years I worked on the family farm, where we grew vegetables.. I graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1984 with a Bachelors of Arts in English (also Phi Beta Kappa).. I attended law school at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. I obtained my J.D. degree in 1989, and am a member of the Order of the Coif academic honor society.. I settled in Fresno in 1989, where I have maintained my practice.. When CDs were the rage, I reviewed a lot of music for a local newspaper. My old website is still at . You had to be there -- I'd receive 15 or more CDs every week. Now, I listen to lots of live music and other ROIOs.. My son is attending law school at UC Irvine, and my daughter is a computer science major at UCSB. In my spare time I enjoy woodworking/cabinet making, trap shooting, and music.
