While on active duty, he served in the Federal Republic of Germany and the Republic of South Vietnam and achieved the rank of Captain.. Mr. Massey returned to civilian life and attended the University of Florida where he received his law degree in 1971. Today, his practice focuses in the areas of workers’ compensation, insurance, and workers’ compensation-related employment litigation matters. He limits his practice exclusively to the representation of both insured and self-insured employers, insurance carriers, servicing agents, and third party administrators.. Mr. Massey is admitted to practice throughout the State of Florida and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He is a member of The Florida Bar and the Broward County Bar Association, where he also served as Chairman Grievance Committee 17-B of The Florida Bar.. Mr. Massey is active in civic matters and has served as Chairman of the City of Fort Lauderdale Parks, Recreation and Beaches Advisory Board, and as a member of the City of Fort Lauderdale Community Services Board. He has also served as President of the Coral Ridge Association, and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Tower Forum. He is also the past President of, and serves on the Board of Directors of the St. Thomas More Society of South Florida. Mr. Massey is also an active member of the Knights of Columbus.
