He became a partner in 192, and the firm’s name was changed to Krupnick Campbell Malone Roselli Buser Slama & Hancock in 1994.. He is a member of the Federal Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Broward County Bar Association and the Florida Bar. He is also licensed to practice in the District of Columba, New York Bar and Washington State Bar. Kelly has consistently received an AV rating by Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, which is the highest rating given by this publication. Kelly is actively involved with the Broward County Trial Lawyers’ Association, the Southern Trial Lawyers’ Association, the American Board of Trial Advocates, the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.. Kelly is a member of the Broward Christian Lawyers’ Association and was a Deacon at Coral ridge Presbyterian Church. Justin M. Berlin was born in New York, but after his family relocated to sunny South Florida, he grew up in Coral Springs. A product of public schools, Justin found his passion for public speaking at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. After he and his debate team won the State Championships, Justin's career in advocacy was all but cemented.Justin received a full scholarship to attend the University of Florida, where he served as the President of their international relations debate team. Justin graduated with honors and a perfect 4.0 grade point average. Before entering law school, Berlin worked in Washington, D.C. for senior United States Senator Bill Nelson of Florida. Justin continued his education at the University of Florida to obtain his Juris Doctor.While in law school, Justin served on the editorial board of the Journal of Law & Public Policy, as a Teacher's Assistant for both Trial Practice and Legal Writing/Appellate Advocacy, and as a representative to the Law College Council. Before graduating with honors, Berlin received special permission from the Florida Supreme Court to prosecute cases as a Certified Legal Intern with the State Attorney's Office in Gainesville, Florida. Justin also worked for Three Rivers Legal Aid, and alongside in-house counsel for Royal Caribbean Cruises.Before co-founding the law firm of Hancock & Berlin, P.A. with his friend and partner Kelly Hancock, Berlin served as an Assistant State Attorney in Broward County. Justin prosecuted thousands of cases in front of over a dozen uniquely different Judges. He has argued over 30 jury trials, innumerable bench trials, and countless substantive motions.
