I  have practiced law since 1978 and joined Brown, Paindiris & Scott in 1995. My principal areas of practice are Divorce and Family Law. In addition to representing clients in court, I also practice collaborative law and mediation and have over 200 hours of mediation training and over 90 hours of Collaborative Training.  I also have significant experience in other civil litigation and real estate.  I am available for on-line consultation and on-line divorce mediation and other video conference meetings as needed.. I am admitted to practice in Connecticut and in the U.S. District Court for Connecticut, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court.  I am a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and serve as the Family Section’s Secretary and as a member of that section’s Executive and Legislative Committees; I am also a member of the Hartford County Bar Association where I served as co-chair of the Family Law Committee, and the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association. I am a charter member and past president of the Connecticut Counsel for Divorce Mediation and Family Dispute Resolution and Connecticut Collaborative Divorce Lawyers.  I am an Advanced Practitioner member of Association for Conflict Resolution, a member of International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, and a past president of the Hartford Association of Women Attorneys.  I was also a member of the Connecticut Statewide Grievance Committee from 1994 to 1996.   I have been chosen by my peers as a "Super Lawyer" in the annual Connecticut Magazine listing for over 10 years..
