More than 20 years ago, as a struggling law student with a small growing family, my wife and I found ourselves overwhelmed with job losses and never-ending bills. We learned firsthand what it feels like to be in debt.. After obtaining my law degree, I put my education and knowledge to use by helping clients who are are facing difficult times. When I became an attorney in 1997, I worked for one of California's largest consumer bankruptcy law firms. In 2001, I started my own law firm and continued to practice in the areas of consumer bankruptcy law and debt relief. To date, I have counseled and helped more than 5,000 clients in finding solutions to their debt problems.. When I'm not working, I love spending time with my beautiful wife of 26 years and our 3 wonderful children. Family is important to me. A few years ago, I started introducing myself as a FAMILY FINANCE LAWYER because I am passionate about helping families who are struggling in this area of their lives. Whether they are facing foreclosure, debt problems, a failing business, medical bills, student loans or tax problems, I help them figure out the best solution for their situation so they can find financial peace of mind again. To me, that is priceless.. To learn more about Attorney Bulaon and his staff, visit Our Staff page at the RJB Law Offices website.
I'm practically an Arizona native, having lived in the Valley since I was six years old. However, I was born in Pennsylvania and still have strong family connections on the East Coast. I attended the University of Arizona for college and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Political Science. When it came to law school, I wanted a change of scenery, but still wanted to stay warm! I focused on schools primarily in the Southeastern region of the country. I attended a small private school in Birmingham, Alabama called Cumberland School of Law. Although I enjoyed the South, after three years it was time to return to the West. I came back to Arizona and took the Arizona Bar Examination in 2008. I have been licensed to practice law in this state since October 2008. I have also been admitted to practice in Federal District Court for the District of Arizona.. After working for a small bankruptcy law firm, I was given the opportunity to join with my former colleague and friend, Cristina Perez, at her new law firm Perez Law Group. We are enjoying running this practice and being able to offer clients the high level of service that we feel each of our clients deserves.. I enjoy traveling and have made it to Italy, Peru, and Spain (photos above).
