I was a Senior Trial Attorney with the IRS Office of Chief Counsel in Laguna where I was recognized by the Department of Treasury for exemplary service. As a Senior IRS Trial Attorney, I successfully reporesented the IRS Commissioner before the United States Tax Court in all phases of litigation and trial. Later on, I Advised IRS Exam, Appeals, and Collection groups on substantive and procedural issues relevant to the assessment and collection of tax for individuals, limited liability companies, partnerships and corporations.
God has blessed me with a profession where I can be of service to people, where I can fight injustice, where I can help those in need of legal services, where I can look for alternatives. I ask God for help with all my cases and walk into a courtroom after praying for God's wisdom and assistance. God has been good to us.. I have had the honor of practicing law in the Los Angeles area and surrounding Southern California counties for over 41 years and in those years, God has allowed me to be recognized as having the highest rating in legal abilities and ethical standards, God has allowed me to be listed in the top 1 % in the nation in some areas, to be listed Best in Glendale in Client Satisfaction. to be listed as a Superlawyer, a Top Lawyer, a Top Attorney, a Superb attorney, a Distinguished attorney, to be listed in America's Most Honored Professionals. I am fluent in English and Spanish. Nobody fights harder for you than I do. My business hours are extremely flexible. My practice areas are criminal defense, family law, personal injury, civil litigation, real estate. I am a litigator and do jury trials. I am a people's lawyer. I work for you and don't forget you are my boss. I consider myself to be a no non-sense, practical person. My client's interests and protection are first and foremost. I demand honesty from my clients. I try to protect my clients from themselves and unnecessary attorney bills when they take positions that are contrary to law. An ounce of preventive legal action can prevent litigation. An ounce of common sense and practicality can minimize the cost of litigation. As an attorney, if I protect my clients well and at the same time save them emotional distress and money, my interests will be served as well. I am a hard working attorney. I believe that good lresults are a residue of hard work and artful preparation of any case but never forget God from the picture. I do a lot of pro bono work in the appropriate cases. I do a pro bono bible centered life group meeting every week for clients and friends to help them with their emotional and spiritual issues. I believe the judicial system works. Truth and justice usually prevail at the end. The above does not mean that you must pay an arm and leg for legal services. I encourage meetings, mediation, arbitration and other avenues to shortcut the process and resolve the disputes, if at all possible. However, if unsuccessful, I am a formidable opponent at trial. I am a tiger in the courtroom. I have successfully handled all types of criminal cases, including murder, felonies, burglaries, white collar crimes, narcotic offenses, domestic violence, DUI, assault and battery, and just about anything else. I have seen miracles in difficult cases where I have no explanation and where I can not take credit for the results.. In family law cases, I have successfully handled big asset divorces. In most cases, there should be no contested child custody disputes but the emotions of the parties create and fuel the dispute in most of the cases. Parents often fail to take into consideration the best interests of the children first and foremost. In those cases, child custody mediations can be useful. There should be almost no contested property division, the parties are entitled to one half of the assets and debts of the marriage. However, concealing of assets is very common, refusal to share information is common and a declaration of war takes place almost in every case related to alimony and child support. If there is domestic violence, restraining orders are obtained. If there are violation of orders, contempt proceedings can be filed. However, if both parties are attempting to do what is right, there is no need for Orders to Show Cause and divorces can proceed in a friendly manner. This means substantial savings in attorneys fees. There is so much needless litigation in divorce cases that can be avoided and most of it can be prevented if you lower the animosity and level of emotional distress between the parties. Finally, if you are not happy with your attorney, or are not getting the answers or results you want, you have the right to change attorneys.. In personal injury cases, I have successfully handled severe injury and death cases resulting from auto vs. auto accidents, slip and fall accidents, bicycle accidents, auto vs. train collisions, premises liability disputes and just about all litigation related thereto. God has blessed my clients with multimillion dollar jury verdicts in difficult cases and I am a member of the Million Dollar Advocate Forum and qualify for the Multi Million Dollar Advocate Forum as well. I handle personal injury cases on a contingency fee basis. In severe injury/death cases, my fees start only at 25 % which is lower than the norm. I also handle real estate disputes, landlord-tenant disputes, collection cases, business disputes and much more. I do not handle cases I am not equipped to handle. If I can't help you, I’ll help you locate the right attorney for you.

Barry A. Bradley, the firm's managing partner, is a graduate of San Diego State University (B.S., with distinction, 1983) and Loyola Law School (J.D., 1986), where he was a state moot court team representative in the Roger Traynor Moot Court Competition and a finalist in the Scott Moot Court Honors Competition. Before founding the firm, he served as a Deputy District Attorney for the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, Hardcore Gang Prosecution Division, where he had over thirty jury trials (including numerous murder trials). For nearly two decades, Mr. Bradley has applied his law enforcement background with marked effectiveness to civil litigation, representing private security and business industries, both in the courts and in administrative proceedings.. He has lectured throughout the nation to various security associations, private security companies, security departments and corporations (including Exxon, Hewlett-Packard, Kaiser Permanente, Bristol-Meyers Squibb, and Kraft General Foods, Inc., Catholic Healthcare West) on topics pertaining to preventative documentation, risk management and increased training. He has been a featured speaker at several annual and regional seminars for ASIS International and the California Association of Licensed Security Agencies, Guards & Associates (CALSAGA), a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing standards and training in the security industry. Mr. Bradley's lecture topics have included: avoiding employment lawsuits (wage and hour claims and class actions, sexual harassment prevention, and policy manual knowledge), minimizing exposure in negligent security cases, and business contract issues.. He has obtained two successful published appellate decisions, both of which have far-reaching effects in favor of the business and private security industries in California. In Maria D. v. Westec Residential Security, Inc. (2000) 85 Cal. App. 4th 125, the California Court of Appeal held that an alleged rape committed by a uniformed security officer while on duty is outside of the course and scope of employment, thus shielding the corporation from respondent superior liability. Similarly, in Borg-Warner Protective Services Corporation dba Wells Fargo Guard Services v. Superior Court (1999) 75 1203, the California Court of Appeal ruled that the state's Private Security Services Act section addressing a security company's obligations still allow the company to assert the defense that it is not liable for its employees' actions committed outside the course and scope employment.. Mr. Bradley is the Legal Advisor to CALSAGA. He is also a regular contributing author to security publications, such as Observed & Reported and Security Executive. He authored California's required legal training modules for security officers published by CALSAGA. His articles have appeared in numerous publications in several states throughout the security industry.. Mr. Bradley has an AV® Preeminent Rating™ from Martindale-Hubbell®, the highest possible Peer Review Rating. Mr. Bradley has been named a Southern California Super Lawyer for the past six years, an honor bestowed upon only 5% of the lawyers in Southern California. He is involved in several organizations, including: BOMA of Greater Los Angeles (Security & Emergency Preparedness Committee), Law Enforcement and Private Security (LEAPS) Conference Board Advisor (since its inception), the International Association for Healthcare Security & Safety (IAHSS), ASIS International, the Glendale Police & Private Security Partnership, and CALSAGA.
