What I love about being an attorney is that I get to fight for fairness. Ever since I can remember I grew up with a sense of what was fundamentally right and what was fundamentally wrong, fariness was an important concpet to me, fairness has remained an important concept for me.. As an attorney, my work gives me the opportunity to fight for fairness on a daily basis, and I can not think of a better way to spend my time. I can't count the number of times a potential client has come to me and said, "I support the police, I think they have a tough job to do, I dont protest them, but they did not treat me right when they charged me with this crime." I can relate to that reaction. What a lot of pepole don't realize, until they are charged with a crime, is that often times the police and prosecutors make snap judgements. They look at just a portion of facts or events and make a decision. When that decision results in an arrest and criminal charges it can be devistating to the perosn charged. People also dont realize that police officers can lie to poeple they are investigating, they can attempt to gather infomration by prentending to be on your side, or engaging a person in seemingly unimportant conversation. Likewise, a police officer can spin observations to make them more subjective thereby bolstering thier own view of a case. These things happen when people are arrested, and it always hits people like a ton of bricks when they realize what is happening.. My job is to fight for you and your rights. The United States Consitution guarantees due process and fuindamental fairness. That means that when the police or prosecutor attempt to twist facts and subjectivly apply evidence, you have the right to present the entire story and question their unfair presentation of the case. To me, that is an honorable profession to dedicate ones life to, and I am proud to do that on a daily basis. With every client I look forwrad to listening to thier side of the story and working with them to gather evidence the police did not want to find, or ignored. I develop strategies desinged to help us negotiate with the prosecutor and prepare the case for trial. I work to make sure that fairness is not lost in the judical system.. I'm proud to be an attorney, and I'm proud to work for people who need a voice and person to stand up for them.
We understand the challenges facing employees when they seek just wages, when they experience wrongful termination or discrimination at work. We know the difficulties when consumers seek compensation for injuries from accidents or when policyholders claim insurance benefits.. For more than two decades, our law firm has protected the rights of employees and consumers. Our consistent record of winning results speak of how we worked to make a difference in the lives of clients and their families.. Helping our clients means freeing them from the burden of paying out-of-pocket costs to bring their case in court. Our legal system in reality requires the readiness to use considerable resources to obtain the evidence necessary to win. In fighting for their rights in court, we take that responsibility ourselves. Our clients do not pay us until we win or recover compensation as a result of our work.. Our legal system is adversarial. One party seeks to recover from the other who naturally opposes that party’s claim. Protecting our clients thus means fighting for them tirelessly, recognizing that employees and consumers do not get what they deserve. They get what they fight for!. Throughout these years, we accomplished much for our clients. With their trust on us, we will continue to do more.
We each spent over a decade defending private and government employers in labor and employment matters. In 2020, we launched Arin | James LLP to bring our talents to the side of the employees. Contact us for a free consultation.
We cultivate individualized client relationships through prompt communication. Each phone call is greeted with the opportunity to directly speak with the attorney, placing the client and their concerns first. Timely communication allows for meticulous care and attention to be invested in our clients, maximizing compensation and leading to optimal results. Just like any other relationship, we know that communication is the key to having a solid foundation with clients and the ultimate success of one’s case. A happy customer will tell their friends; an unhappy customer will tell the world.
