Kip O’Connor was raised in a military family with a strong tradition of military service. Both of Kip’s Grandfathers, his Father and two uncles were all career Naval Officers.. Kip Graduated from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland in 1989 and was commissioned an Ensign in the United States Navy.  Kip served as a Naval Warfare Officer for seven years.  After leaving the Navy, Kip worked as a chemical engineering, where he developed and interest in environmental law.. In 2000, Kip graduated from University of Baltimore School of Law with honors (cum laude) in 2000.  After graduation, Kip was admitted to practice law in Maryland.  He worked for a private law firm concentrating in criminal defense and civil law.  Kip handled hundreds of felony and misdemeanor criminal cases, personal injury case and divorce and child custody cases.. In 2004, Kip moved to Redstone, Colorado where he has significant family ties to the area.
