I practice mainly in the Middle Peninsula/NorthernNeck region of Virginia. The Firm currently has three locations, Gloucester, Hampton, and Newport News, Virginia. I am fortunate to have two very capable Associates on my staff whom I have worked with for years.. The legal profession is my second career and I like to think that I bring a "real life" perspective in my representation of my clients. I have been on the other side of that desk and know the feelings of anxiety, confusion, and sometimes, fear of the legal system that people feel. I have been practicing law in the Hampton Roads and Middle Peninsula areas of Virginia since 2004.  Having grown up in Hampton, being a product of Phoebus High School and Old Dominion University, I decided to stay in the area to practice law after graduating with my law degree from the University of Richmond in 2004.  The majority of my law practice focuses on criminal/traffic defense, child custody/visitation/support and guardian ad litem work, personal injury and general practice.  I am past president of the Middle Peninsula Bar Association.  I am currently the vice chair of the Community Criminal Justice Board, board member on the Eastern Region of Virginia Child Fatality Review Team and member of the Virginia Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, American Bar Association, and Virginia Bar Association.  I also love coaching youth baseball and spending time with my awesome family.  My firm, Decker Law, PLLC, offers a wide range of legal services to meet your needs.  Give us a call or come on by for a consultation.

I earned my undergraduate degree at Brandeis University, my law degree at Boston University School of Law, and I was admitted to the practice of law in Massachusetts. While a sophomore at Brandeis University, I started my first business in Gloucester, which I ran successfully for four years before moving on to focus on my legal career.. During my time at Boston University School of Law, I was the first student to be granted an externship in the legal department for PAREXEL International. I also worked for two years at a general practice firm located in Salem, Massachusetts.. I founded Seaside Legal Solutions in 2010 as a response to the need for a 21st century law practice on Cape Ann and my practice is currently accepting new clients as Seaside Legal continues to expand.
