Practicing since 1999, initially as a Clerk to Federal Judge George Hodges in Charlotte, NC, then practicing predominately Criminal Law, later Certified by the State Bar as a Specialist in both NC State Criminal Law and Federal Law as an expert.. Raised in Burlington, NC, attended Williams High School then later attending UNC Chapel Hill for both undergrad and law school.

I was raised in Alamance County and am a graduate of Walter Williams High School in Burlington, North Carolina. After graduating from High School, I received my undergraduate degree in History from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and my Juris Doctor from Campbell University. Upon graduating from Law School, I served as an Assistant District Attorney in Alamance County for several years before opening my own law firm focusing on Criminal Law and Family Law matters.

Growing up as the son of a Marine Corps Aviator and a public school teacher, John W. Cox saw firsthand how his parents dedicated their lives to helping others. After spending time in the District Attorney’s Office, Mr. Moore went on to private practice where he became an associate attorney at Schlosser and Pritchett Criminal Defense Team. It was here that Rashad learned how to handle superior court cases as it pertained to more serious felonies. Business North Carolina Legal Elite recognized Mr. Moore for his practice of Criminal Law in 2020. Rashad spent much of his time in private practice handling the firm’s misdemeanor clientele as well as civil domestic violence protective orders, traffic tickets and expunctions..
