I was born and raised in Springfield, Missouri. I graduated from the University of Tampa with a Bachelors Degree in Economics. I obtained my Juris Doctor degree from Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia and am now licensed to practice in Virginia, North Carolina, The District of Columbia and Missouri as well as many federal courts including the United States Supreme Court. My primary area of practice includes Bankruptcy, Criminal/Traffic Defense, Intellectual Property and Estate Planning.
I received a Bachelor’s Degree from Northern Kentucky University in 1983 where I majored in English with a minor in Psychology. I then went on to earn a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Marshall Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia in 1987.. I have been in private practice in Hampton, Virginia since 1988. The focus of my practice has been primarily family law and bankruptcy. I have also done pro bono work in the area of custody for local women's shelters.. In my spare time I am involved in community activities including serving as secretary for the Wythe Pool and as vice president and now president of a local swim team, the Hampton Sharks.
