I have been practicing injury law predominately in Hickory, Charlotte, Concord area of NC since 1993 and in the Rock Hill SC area since 2018.  I have been recognized with the highest level of legal excellence by my peers, earning the AV rank by Martindale-Hubbell. I am board certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy (NBTA) in Civil Trial Law. NBTA is the only national certification recognized by th United States Supreme Court. It requires substatntial evidence of ones trial skills including completed trial information, comments by judges and lawyers who you have been in trial with, a multi hour exam and recertification every five years demonstrating a current level of trial experience. I have been board certified for more than ten years having recertified twice, the last time in 2022. I am a member of the Americn Board of Trial Advocates which is by invitation only and requires certain trial accomplishements. I have served as the Western North Carolina Chapter president as well as a member of the national board.
