I was first licensed to practice law in the state of Nevada in 2013.  I have practiced as a trial attorney in Nevada since that time, focusing primarily on divorce/custody matters.  I was employed as the sole associate of a well-established divorce/custody attorney, who functioned as my mentor.. I am a founding member of Skoubye Nielson & Johansen LLC formerly known as Olsen Skoubye & Nielson, LLC. I began practicing law as an associate in the Salt Lake City law firm of Kirton, McConkie & Poelman. After two years there, I hung out my own shingle two blocks from my home starting Jeff Skoubye P.C., where I practiced as a solo practitioner for nine years. I helped found Skoubye Nielson & Johansen, LLC in January of 2002.Though I am no longer located in a small office, I still try to bring a personal touch to the services I provides.
